As per the title, I was installing Windows 10 on this laptop (a co-workers', not mine), and the installation had a BSOD. I was updating from Windows 8. After that BSOD, I had to restart the computer and the installation was still ongoing. This happened about 4 times. Now I am left with a computer with a screen that won't turn on. I'm thinking there was a problem with the OS, but have no clue as to why the BIOS is not being shown to me. When I asked my co-worker, he said he had a similar problem once when he installed Windows 8, took him about a week to solve it. He told me he couldn't quite remember how, but it had something to do with the BIOS and probably the CMOS battery.

So, I figured I'd crack it open, take off the CMOS and reset the BIOS, so that every value resets. Nothing, same deal. Tried removing both RAM memories, turned on the PC and I hear 2 beeps, so MOBO is fine. I put both memories on all possible positions, even one at a time, nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!
