Dell Inspiron 15R (N5110) Battery problem.

Hi,

My laptop model is Dell Inspiron 15R (N5110).
OS: Windows7-Premium.

Recently,my Laptop battery started behaving strangely.

First,it showed "Plugged In,Charging",but actually the battery isnt charging.

Later,I removed the battery,charger and placed them again.Now,I can see "Battery Not detected" notification for a while and "Battery Charging" notification for a while.
Is it defect related to battery/charger? (or) Software related (or) May be related to mother board?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Shutdown your PC
Unplug the charger cable
Remove your battery

Hold down the power button for 15 seconds
Put the battery back in with the charger
Boot up your PC

After doing the above steps:
If the PC only runs with the charger plugged in, you need to buy a new battery
