Dell Inspiron 3421 model.

my laptop is Dell Inspiron 3421 model. Charger lights up when I plug it into the power outlet and then when I plug it to the laptop the lights turns off.
After when I remove it from the laptop still the lights remains off. To light up the charger indicator again I have to plug it in the outlet again.
Can you plz help me regarding this???

You either have a short on your laptop or a short in the charger. Shutting off when plugged in is what the charger is supposed to do when it faults.
Try another adapter and see if it happens with another adapter. if It does than it is most likely a power issue or short issue with the laptop.
