i have a laptop which is dead and when pushing the power button only the power button is getting on the fan is not working..

Hi,

I understand that your PC is not turning on. Only the power led is glowing. It means that there is no issue with the power supply. I request you to perform power drain, please follow the steps given below:
1.Disconnect all the external devices from your PC. (power adapter etc)
2.Now turn over the laptop and remove the battery
3.Press and hold the power button 10-15 seconds to remove the static charge from the motherboard.
4. Once done, directly connect the power adapter and power on the PC.

Try reseating the RAM. Just remove and place it to the same slot. If you have a spare power adapter, check with it to ensure whether its power on or not.
If this doesn't work, connect your PC to an external monitor to check the display.
