I have a Dell inspiron 5548 with i5 core processor and I need the device id to hook up to the WiFiat my school. Where can I fiND that?

Perhaps you mean your MAC address, which is often used for acquiring access to restricted networks. Open up a command prompt by typing "CMD" in Start and selecting the first option. Enter the following command:

ipconfig /all

Scroll through the list of information that appears, looking for "Wireless adapter" or something similar. Under this heading, look for "Physical address." That is your MAC address.
