I took apart my dell inspiron 5577 to put new thermal paste on the cpu and gpu and put it back together and now it doesn’t boot. White light comes routerlogin on first then flashes orange three times then white twice. Repeats three orange flashes then two white. I checked multiple times to make sure that everything was in place but it still won’t boot. Fans won’t even turn on when starting, dying shortly after starting up. Accessories plugged into usb turn on but fans aren’t running and screen won’t turn on. Any help with this?

Probably not. Taking your laptop apart is a very common way to break it. Read a reply I posted earlier today on the subject. I'm not trying to be nasty--I just wish people would stop doing this. Did you follow proper ESD precautions? If not, you likely damaged some components. Hard to know which ones. Probably need to take it to a shop. Sorry.
