Wow! At a price like this, one has to wonder if there will be any demand for the XO OLPC at all, other than for charity.

Plus this one comes with Windows, which is exactly what developing nations prefer over the OLPC's current software.

True and unfortunate. Realistically, a lot of netbooks and smaller laptops today owe their existence to the OLPC group and intel's own version of the program (the 'classmate', i think). This machine doesn't use one, but for example, it is little wonder where intel got the inspiration to build the Atom.
