DELL Laptop Diagnostic Errors

Hey man Look ima be real i was working on this laptop and i was such in a hurry like being pisst because it was giving me so many problems that at the end i made it work but then the touchpad wasnt working so while the laptop was on i was trying to connect the touchpad thing and then it got burned like i saw smoke come up from that cable i think since i left it touching and i keeped on working on it i saw the smoke. so now When im booting up it keeps restarting it self from the boot screen so i did a diagnostic and the CD DRIVE and the HARD DRIVE GIVE ME ERRORS when in the diagnostic Part. What can i do to Fix this situation. This is why i hate laptops damn.

Im able to boot into bios but i cant Boot the hard Drive or the DVD drive can it had cause to burn both things or where you connect them?
