Dell laptop inspiron 1720 gets too hot and shuts down

Laptop overheard the shuts down how can I fix that problem

Maybe your laptop fan can be out of work.You can repair it.

Possible reasons:
1. Laptop fan is full of dust and cannot exhaust the hot air
2. Thermal paste needs replacing
3. Heatsink/Fan not seated correctly
4. Fan does not work
5. All of the above!
