Dell latitude c610 wont start up

Hello,
I am having a similar problem with my C610, but, the only difference is that mine won't boot period.

None of the LED lights shine and I have tried booting with the battery out as suggested but no sign of life at all.

What's the problem?

If you're getting absolutely no activity, with or without the battery installed, or just the battery itself, it would sound as if you've got a bad motherboard. Repair costs will probably be enough that you will just want to get a new laptop. Sorry.
