Dell Latitude E6500 backlit keyboard question.

Hey everyone, my Latitude E6500 allows me to put a backlit keyboard in and I was wondering if I could do something like this https/www.youtube.com/watch?v=rklOixPa_ns to it.
I know these are two completely different Laptops but I was wondering if taking apart the keyboard to put the colored film in would work the same way as it does in the video above or are there any other steps to accessing the LED's to put the film over it? Thank you to anyone that can help me out or can give any advice for doing this kind of thing I really appreciate it.

Hi,

When it comes with mods like that there's always a risk of damaging your keyboard in a certain way while doing it. If the keyboard can be disassembled like in the video and yes that's possible but on that note make sure that the LED that lights up your keyboard would be on the back of the colored film.
