I have a Dell N5010 that i'm working on for a family member, they spilled milk on it and fried it. I replaced the power board due to white residue covering parts of it, it didn't work. Then I noticed some white residue on the motherboard and replaced it, it didn't work. So then I replaced the processor, it didn't work. I replaced the power supply, and the ram and have all the parts connected outside of the case sitting on my desk and the most it will do when I plug it in is the LED for the front panel flicks on then off and nothing happens. I'm very confused.

No mystery here, either the case connections are bad due to the spill or you put something together wrong. It would have been easier to replace the laptop with a used one off ebay or craigslist and swap hard drives. Nothing we can do here, someone needs to be there to work on the laptop to check anything.
