Please elaborate more on the keyboard typing experience. The keyboard is the most important part of a laptop for me. I found the old XPS 13 keyboard satisfactory in terms of layout, responsiveness, and travel, but the new domes and reduced travel are concerning.

I made the mistake of switching from Macbook Pro to Dell XPS13 a year ago. The technical support for Dell is quite poor. After only 1 year, my laptop couldn't start and the issue is still unresolved after sending 3 engineers over. It is now 2 weeks and the problem has been "escalated to higher management" with no resolution in sight. I had a 2 year premium warranty with this purchase.
I will be switching back to Macbook.

I too bought the 2 year premium warranty with my Dell XPS 13 (model 9365). The laptop itself has been mostly a joy. The support has been disappointing to say the least. I'll buy from Dell again but won't waste my money on the optional support.
