Dell xps m1730 cant locate wireless card

wifes' computer suddenly loswt the wireless card, although it tells me it is connected, but also tells me there is no hardware

Does the Dell have a physical switch for wireless or does it use an Fn key combination ? Check the manual, also see Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager to see if the adapter is present or yellow flagged as faulty.
