Desktop monitor problems

I have two monitors, one brand new, and all of a sudden I'm getting grey (ghost like) horizontal lines trailing any text on the monitors. Pictures and video look fine. Any ideas how to fix?

First update your video driver software and check your video card is not overheating ... using something like a motherboard monitor program.
