Dear Tom (or anyone!)

Firstly - why isn't there a column for desktops with towers here? Anyway.

All of a sudden, left-click's stopped working in Chrome. Every time I click on a tab it closes it, doesn't change to it. I have to use Task Manager to change tabs.

It's not the 'hold down scroll wheel on mouse for 20 seconds' thing because I've tried that. I know about the 'become a new user' thing - but I can't set up a new user because I can't click on the right things in Chrome to do it - my left-click button doesn't work ANYWHERE! And I've just checked - the RIGHT mouse button's closing everything now too, so they've not got swapped somehow.

Anyone know how to get round this one without needing the left-click button to do it (unless it's in Windows - in everything else, the mouse works fine. It's solely in Chrome things have gone wrong.)

I'm using Windows XP SP3 - don't shout at me for that, I'm disabled, it runs my disability software! Can't afford to buy all the software again for a different version of Windows. Would cost just over a grand.

Yours hopefully

Chris.
