Solved! Direct tv without box

If I have Direct TV and I have a digital tuner built into my TV, can I directly connect the cable from the satellite dish into the TV? I have a small TV in an area that is not suited for a cable box. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

No. The signal from the satellite must be processed (I.E. the "box").
