Directv to soundbar to tv

I have Directv H24-700 box, Yamaha SRT-1000 soundbar and Sharp Aquos TV #LC-47sb57ut. Can't seem to figure out how to hook this all up. HELP!! Ranet

Connect the direct TV box to the TV then connect the sound bar to the TV, set the audio output on the TV to what ever audio out the sound bar is connected to. Set the video input on the TV to which ever connection the direct TV box is connected to.

^ whs - digital optical audio cable from TV to soundbar & then anything on TV screen should be outputted to your Yamaha audio wise.
