"Disconnect Search" question

I just ran across articles on the Disconnect Search add on that you can install on your browser. This software add on apparently allows you to block personal search information tracking.

Does anyone know anything about this?

There are quite a few apps that do similar things, Private Browsing, Quero Toolbar, NoScript (although not really for helping with privacy, it does block stuff that may not be good for the system). Have not used Disconnect Search but looks to be a valid and solid product.
