what would be the best tv screen technolgy to buy.....dlp, lcd, or plasma?

You left out LCoS / HD-ILA / SXRD. I have a Brillian 720p 65" set and would put it up against any display up to twice the MSRP for color accuracy and overall picture quality.

it depends on your situation...you have to take into consideration size of the screen that you want, the space you have to put it in, and your preferences. In my opinion the LCD has the greatest picture quality, but you cannot get a 60" to hang on the wall, only a projection.
