I'm an animation student, 1st year. I just got a DELL 5540 laptop and it has all the criteria they asked for except that it's workstation not gaming. Does that make a difference? Especially when I work with animation programs and 3D rendering (blender). I also plan to get a fan in the future if I face temperature problems.
Also, the doctor who lectured us on laptops told me that DELL is "bad", is that accurate? I still have a chance to replace my laptop this week so please help a beginner out. TYIA!
