Do I have to replace this screen?

Basically I have a new MSI laptop, I've been using it very heavily. I do have a warranty so I'm not that worried. I do believe there is a manufacturer defect as it shouldn't have broken so quickly. Here is a picture of the damage:

hum yeah you need to replace it to use it, but.. my bet is that the msi company is not going to replace that monitor for free
it clearly looks like an impact break. what happens when you punch your pc because you died at WoW.

They might say that you've dropped it and that's not covered under the warranty. So, be careful with what you say to them. If it really is a manufacturing defect, than they should get it repaired for you free of charge.
