do i need a sound card for a Sennheiser PC 350 se

my trusty old razer kraken 7.1 died and i need a new headset so i looked at the Sennheiser PC 350 se but i don't know if i need a soundcard for it to run ore if i can run it from my motherboard (i have a msi pc mate h97) can the toms guide community help me?

This page says that this headset has 2x3.5mm audio connectors (presumably, one for headphones, one for microphone), so you definitely need a soundcard with analog output and microphone input for them.

This could be either built-in soundard on almost every new desktop. On some laptops, you would need an adapter cable. However, spending $250, I would suggest spending $50 on a quality USB soundard for this headset.
