Does anyone know if there's a way of powering on a TE69KB laptop without the power on button?

My power button seems to be broken, I've been trying for ages to get it working using different tricks and tactics to get it on, but surely there must be a way to power it up without the hard power button?

No sarcasm intended, but why would there be? It's like trying to get water out of your kitchen tap without turning the valve because the valve is broken. I suspect you need a repair shop.
