does anyone know what to do when your E1-571 will not charge up

laptop not charging whilst connected to the mains!

Hi,

Try some of these troubleshooting steps:
- Remove the batter and AC adapter press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
- Boot the laptop up without the battery but once inside windows plug the battery in as well.
- If that doesn't work go to Device Manager and expand System Devices.
- Look for ACPI Battery complaint right click on it and select Uninstall.
- Reboot your laptop and see if will charge.
