Does anyone know why my denon goes on stand by and will not come off it

My reciver goes on standby and will not do nothing at all

It is a denon avr-2802

Does it go into standby with all the speakers disconnected?
If it doesn't then you have either a shorted speaker wire or bad speaker.
If it does then disconnect all the inputs and try it again.
If it still goes into protection there is an internal problem. Not a DIY repair and might be more to fix than replace.
