Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has garnered quite a lot of attention from viewers and players with its quirky yet easy-to-conquer levels. Tropical Freeze, Level 6 -4, shows Donkey Kong trying to acquire the puzzle pieces which are scattered and pretty much hidden all over the frozen place.
Donkey Kong is once again trying to prove that in order to win the quest; it needs a) a ton of bananas in his forte and b) a player who plays the game just right. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s collect those 7 puzzle pieces and move right along.
Puzzle Piece #1:
Our quest begins with Kong springing into action as he slides through the cave into a ground laden with snow, puzzle pieces, and not to mention, bananas. While you might care to notice the shield and the flag at the back in order to add a couple of puzzle pieces in your bag, let us tell you what you really need to do.
Run to the right of the frame and tackle the plant in front of you in order to acquire bananas. Continue to run to the right and jump to the area where you see the plug. At the same time, take notice of the walrus baddie who has a frown and is trying pretty hard to ruin things for you by chucking snowballs in your pathway. Dodge the snowballs and pull the plug in order to claim your first puzzle piece. Hooray!
Puzzle Piece # 2:
Run to your right, grab the Kong Barrel and head back towards the cave. Remember the shield you saw at the back of the wall at the beginning of the stage? Chuck the Kong Barrel at the shield and get ready to enter a secret room or in our case, a bonus round! It sure is bananas galore for Donkey Kong. Zip through all the bananas within a time frame of 30 seconds in order to achieve your second puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece # 3:
Gear up for the Rocket Barrel stage. You’ll find 12 bananas spinning in circles and it might be a bit difficult to collect them all in the first go. However, if you move clockwise and then anticlockwise, you’d be able to collect all of them in two simple turns. Aim to collect your third puzzle piece over the snowy platform ahead of you.
Puzzle Piece #4:
As you move further along, you’d see bananas lined up in front of you. Collect all of the bananas in order to claim your fourth puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #5:
As you go on further, you will enter a wood-lined tunnel that has magical (read: giant) snowballs falling towards the other side. All you have to do is dodge the giant snowballs wisely in order to obtain access to the ice passage in front of you. This ice passage is lined with bananas which you’d collect in order to claim your fifth puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #6:
Things are starting to get pretty intense. This part has snowballs written all over the place, and we are not kidding when we say this. As you go on further, you’ll be attacked by a giant snowball that will actually shower little snowballs and a ton of goodies all over the passage for you.
However, you’d have to reach high and low in order to get all of the bananas and banana coins, and at the same time, escape the wrath of the snowballs as well. Claim your hardly earned sixth puzzle piece as you collect the goodies in the air.
Puzzle Piece #7:
It’s the last one in the hood and consists of another bonus round! However, getting to this bonus round might be a little tricky as you’d have to locate the Slot Machine Barrel and jump to the area beyond it. Pound the ground next to it in order to enter the second and the last secret room of this level. Collect all the bananas to unleash the seventh and the last puzzle piece on your list. Return to the scene, roll over to the Slot Machine Barrel and end the level like a gamer pro!
