Cliffside Slide is one of the unique levels of Donkey Kong; this is because this whole level is made of ice and snow and most of the colours in this level are black and white. This is the reason that it can become hard to spot puzzle pieces in this level. But, you don’t have to worry about anything, this guide will help you get all the puzzle pieces. So let’s jump right in:
First Piece:
Just like all other levels of Donkey Kong where you find the puzzle piece at the start, this one is the same as well. As soon as you spawn in this level, just start playing the game until you come across the penguin that will be wearing a spiky helmet. As soon as you see the penguin, turn and then head to the left. You will see a wooden platform, go under it and there you will find the first piece of the puzzle, go ahead and collect it.
Second Piece:
After getting the first piece of the puzzle, keep on playing the game until you pass the first checkpoint. Right after passing the first checkpoint, you will find a second puzzle piece in another secret location. What you need to do is to look up and towards your right side, and you will find an enemy that spawns fish. Defeat the enemy, and then head to the left behind the enemy to get the piece of the puzzle.
Third Piece:
After finding the second puzzle piece, keep playing the game until you reach the precarious platforms, after crossing the platforms, you will see a section where you will have to grab a grassy section that is above you. Jump to the right and then jump on top of grassy platform section and then stomp on to the fruit to get the third piece of the puzzle.
Fourth Piece:
After the third piece of the puzzle, keep on playing the game until you reach the second checkpoint. After the second checkpoint, you need to head right and then roll jump backwards on a wooden platform to discover a secret area. In that secret area, stomp on the fruit to see the fourth piece of the puzzle. Now just go ahead and collect that piece.
Fifth Piece:
This is one is pretty easy. There is not much work involved, and you can get this piece of the puzzle by just one jump, yes, literally just one jump. After you have the fourth piece of the puzzle, just keep on playing the game until you reach at the avalanche at the end of the level. Now what you need to do is to climb that avalanche and then along the way, you will see a plant, just stomp that plant and a puzzle piece will pop up, collect it and you will have all the five pieces of the puzzle.
Although this level is not so hard but finding the puzzles can be an arduous task. So make sure to follow this guide carefully and be attentive to your surroundings to spot the areas that have puzzle pieces.
