Finding puzzle pieces in the meltdown mayhem is indeed an arduous task that takes a lot of guts and quick movements. This is because of the Lava that can swallow your Donkey Kong if you are not fast. And the hard part is that players don’t know where they will find the puzzle pieces. Therefore, this guide will help all the Donkey Kong players in getting all the five pieces of the puzzle. So let’s start:
Puzzle Piece #1:
At the start, the game looks quite peaceful and icy, but that is just for a few minutes. Once you pound the gold plate that is in the ground a few times, and you will see a titular meltdown will start and a bunch of lava will start to come out and melt the surrounding ice. As soon as this happens, turn around and go backwards. This is because you will see a secret room if you go back and you can now access it. Once you are in the room, you know the drill, collect all the bananas within 30 seconds and you will get the first puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #2:
After getting the first piece of the puzzle, keep playing the game and you will come across a checkpoint pig, go further from there until you find a castle looking structure. Just past this structure you will plow through a couple of Rambi blocks and you will find some bananas there. Now bear in mind that you need to be fast and careful while collecting those bananas because the platform under them is sinking. So once you have collected all the bananas, you will get the second piece of the puzzle.
Puzzle Piece #3:
Once you are done with the second puzzle piece, go further and you will see a blast barrel sequence and after that a checkpoint pig. Right after the checkpoint pig, you will come across an icy platform with a yellow plant above it. Be quick and stomp onto the plant and you will get the third puzzle piece. Just make sure to move quickly as the platform sinks in the lava.
Puzzle Piece #4:
Continue playing the game and soon you will come across another Rambi crate. What you need to do is to run into the side of the structure towards the right and you will reveal a hidden cove. Once that hidden cove is revealed, you will then find the fourth puzzle piece as well.
Puzzle Piece #5:
Once you have the fourth piece of the puzzle, keep on running and you will find a few platforms that are being lifted by the geysers of lava. There will be few bananas above the, collect all the bananas and you will reveal the final piece of the puzzle. Go ahead and grab that fifth piece of the puzzle.
