The level Shoal Atol is weird like its name. But, the good thing about is that you will go through a series of different passages that will make you choose between different ways, choose the right ones to get all puzzle pieces or follow the guide below:
Puzzle Piece #1:
As you start the level, make sure to start it with the Dixie Kong. There will be a hidden cove that only she can access. Move towards the right side and you will see a bridge. Don’t step on the bridge as it will collapse. Jump to the middle of the bridge at the banana bunch and as soon as you land, jump again to the right side. With proper timing, you will be able to land on the little cliff. Now slap the ground that is in front of the treasure chest and then collect all the bananas to get the puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #2:
Now after you have dived down in the water, go through the opening on the right side. Go to the right and past the red chest into the passage that is on the upper side. You will see a red key right out of the gate, grab that key and then swim your way through the jet stream at the upper left side to enter in a secret room. Collect all of the bananas in the room within 30 seconds and you will reveal the second puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #3:
After getting the piece, come out of the secret room and swim down heading towards the right side, and you will see the red chest from earlier. Out pops green key! Pick up the key and now take the path to the lower right hand. Move through the empty corridor and enter a room with a yellow chest. You will need a yellow color key for that yellow chest. But before going to find the yellow key there is a barrel in the bottom left corner, dash past that barrel to reveal the third puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #4:
Now go out from the path on the bottom right and you will come across a green chest, open it, get the blue key and then swim to the bottom while avoiding the eel. Leave the room via the passage on the left. Gather all the bananas in the first ring and a hole will appear in the ceiling, do the same with second and third banana rings. Now enter the hole after the third ring and follow the path and go into the next room. Swim down and into the cove, collect all bananas along your way. At the bottom, you will see a blue chest that will have the yellow key inside it. If you collect all bananas, you will reveal the fourth puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #5:
Now keep playing the game until you reach the slot barrel. Past the slot barrel, is the final piece of the puzzle on the right side. Grab it and then get into the slot barrel.
This is it! Follow all the instructions mentioned above and you will be able to get all of the puzzle pieces before the end of the level.
