Don't know for sure what laptop to buy

So I have these 2 options to choose from

Acer Aspire 5742G-384G50Mncc
Intel® CoreTM i3-380M 2.53GHz
4GB ddr3
500GB hard-drive 5400rpm
nVidia GeForce GT 540M 2GB
1 year warranty

AND

DELL Inspiron N5010
Intel Core i3-380M 2.53GHz
4GB DDR3
320GB hard-drive
1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
2 years warranty

Ok so now the pros and cons
pro acer-video card is better i know that and hard drive is bigger and is cheeper with 30$
cons acer-1 year warranty and as i know and read on nvidia boards and more stuff the video card has OPTIMUS tech which is not fully developed problems with the tech not always changing to the desired nvidia card,crashes,bsod,freezes...

540M is slightly faster than 5650M and you get more HDD with the Acer model plus it's cheaper too,so I say go for it

yeah but i what about the warranty? and problems with video card...

Warranty is your call,I personally care more about specs than warranty.
And what problems with the GPU ? you can disable the onboard card if you don't need it

well with nvidia you can't disable the onboard only with ati you have switch-drivers are unstable many complains on nvidia forums about acer and 540m not changing to desired graphics always

Well,there are always satisfied and dissatisfied customers but I think things change with new drivers.(And AFAIK,you can switch from the onboard card to the GT 540M)
But if you're still worried then go with the Dell model,it's specs aren't much slower
