Dragon naturally speaking won't let me use my audio-jack mic

Hey I got Dragon 12.0 and I think I recently updated it to 12.5. I am now starting to use it and there is no way for me to use my audio-jack mic. The only options are:

USB Microphone
Dragon Remote Microphone Application
Handheld or smartphone with recording application

This is a big problem for me. The audio-jack mic came with the software yet there's no option for it, USB Mirophone I tried and didn't do anything for me.

Did you try the audio in (mic) jack on the back panel or just on the front panel of your computer?

You also need to check your default devices in the sound control panel, recording tab to insure that the devices show up and one is set as default.

And all of that needs to be done before starting the programs.
