Drive lock password reset

while i was away i think my room mate tryed to get into my laptop . so now it does not open even with the right drive lock pass word. laptop#hp dv 4335nr

Do you mean a BIOS password? If so, you'll have to call the manufacturer, provide proof of ownership, and they'll reset it.
