Drive with two partitions

Hi Thanks for the info on the moving partitions. Next question. I bought a 1TB drive and want to clone my Regular drive to the larger drive. Should I mount it in my desktop as a secondary drive, or can I mount the 1 TB drive in a docking station and then clone it?

You can do either way but mounting it internally would make for a faster copy.
