DVI to DVI or DVI to HDMI

I have a TV that has both DVI and HDMI inputs. My graphics card only has DVI outputs. Should I run DVI straight into my TV( which has a DVI input), or use a DVI to HDMI adapter and run HDMI cable to the TV?

I don't see any reason to go with any sort of adapter if you don't need to. Both carry the same digital signal. Just go DVI to DVI.
