Dying at 100%

My Toshiba windows10 laptop turns off at 100%when you disconnect the charger it's acting like a computer it has to be connected all the time.If not it will not work I've had it for over a year it hasn't done anything like this and it was working normal yesterday. It hasn't show any error messages it hasn't been heating up or anything like that.

It sounds like the battery is actually dead or dying, but is showing the wrong percentage of a charge. Which isn't uncommon. I would replace the battery.
