Earbuds keep dying

I've been having a problem with my Samsung s6. About two weeks ago, my fairly new earbuds stopped working in the right ear. A few days after, my older Skull Candy earbuds stopped playing vocals, and now my Bluetooth Oontz Budz earbuds have stopped working. Help??

Is the samsung S6 firmware up to date?
