I actually picked up this deal the other day. I too was surprised it wasn't a Chromebook. Being in the IT industry, I have a steady supply of aged laptops and an msdn subscription to use as "bash around" devices. Start ordering replacement batteries or drives and you'll get to the 99 dollar mark real quick. The drawbacks are actually a positive, it's not upgradable and comes with Windows 11 S, a locked down smaller footprint OS that blocks anything outside of Microsoft approved things to be installed. You can remove that mode, or enter a key for a different version all together. It's perfect for a jumpbox laptop or even something for aging relatives that isn't 1000 dollars with both malware and coffee cup stains on it. Worked even better when I linked my Google drive to it.
