Echo from 2 microphones

Hi,

me and my boyfriend are recording gameplay videos but we are in one room next to each other. In order to record each's voice we use microphones in our separate PCs. But then echo occurs. It is really annoying and it ruins the video. We are using Hama Urage Xplode headsets but thinking of buying new. What should be done to avoid the echo?

Nor much except be in different rooms. Lol. When me and my gf are gaming i can sometimes hear her in real life then over teamspeak a few nd later and then again if i go to talk at the same time she is because my Mic picks it up. You guys can try moving your mica clear to your mouth and turn down the gain a bit and talk softer

Thank you for the replay! Another question to ask. Is there any software we can use for noise cancelling. I've read about such programs but I don't know which works for sure. I bought Hama Fire Fighter and the mic is better than the old one.
