Eee pchow do i unlock the hard disk

i have an asus eee pc netbook!i turn on the pc and it says enter user password or switch to master password to unlock the hard disk! i dont know either one how would i find the master password?

Sounds like your BIOS has a password set on it. You need to recall that password or reset the BIOS to its default configuration by removing the motherboard battery (or shorting it). You can also contact Asus tech support for help, but be prepared to provide proof of ownership.
