element tv antenna hookup problem

If I had manual, wouldn't' be asking here. rf screw on looks EXACTLY like an antenna one. Can't find another one. BEEN LOOKING...IT'S a 40" tv if that matters? can only get 3 channels over n over. Do I need to plug in a htmi cord too?

Several possible problems. Your TV might be set to cable vs off-air. Your antenna could be pointed wrong. Your TV might not have a digital tuner. Your TV could have a tuner problem. Your coax might not be making connection.

What is the model of the TV ?
