Element TV keeps telling me to run channel scan and will not get channels. I keep running channel scan but no channels are found.

You did connect an antenna to the TV?
You did select over the air rather than cable?
You did try repositioning the antenna?
If you are below ground you may not get any channels. The higher the antenna the better. An amplified antenna is better than a passive antenna in most cases.
