How do I setup my element tv without a remote?

Can't say for sure but it there are no controls on the TV you will need to get a replacement remote. A universal remote might work but even if it operates the basic functions it may not let you access the set up menu.
If you search for your TV make - model + replacement remote you should find one.

Perfect! I can't believe I didn't think of this. Got universal which, as you suggested, only performs basic functions, I have ordered a remote for this TV!
