email forwarding to multiple accounts based on rules

I'm looking for an email system that facilitates auto forwarding of incoming mail to multiple destinations based on various rules?
I would go with gmail, except every forwarding address needs to be approved by the recipient first (and we don't want the recipient to have to go through an approval process).

P.S. We are not spamming, we are trying to automate alerts to our clients.

Why not?

Seems to make good sense to let clients know that they have an option to receive automatic alerts.

Especially if there is some real value in doing so. Not just some marketing trickery or "feel good" gimmick that actually means little in the end.

Use good business sense, be honest and up front about it. Customers must opt-in and should appreciate that approach and offering. Even if they decline honor that declination.

Companies with that sort of philosophy and business practices are who I do business with....
