ET1810 upgrade to win 7 issue

when I insert the emachines upgrade disk i get this message " Acer upgrade DVD stopped"
and the following list of problems.

Hi,

It's seems like the error message has something to do with the disc itself. But before you contact e-machine to get a new copy of a Windows 7 upgrade disc, make sure that your laptop is up to date. Run Windows Update and make sure to install all the important updates. Make sure that the DVD drive is working properly, try running any from music,video dvd and see if you'll have any problem playing them. Lastly, contact the manufacturer where you got the upgrade disc and have them replace it.
