Great doorbell but it appears to have a limited lifespan. Threads in different forums such as Reddit have many users indicating their doorbells go offline and will no longer connect to their wifi networks. Calls to customer service by these users all indicate they are told to go through all the available troubleshooting steps, resetting of routers and the doorbells, checking for any blocking or conflicts within their router configurations and to enable their cellphone hotspots to test the connectivity as well. In the majority of the cases, the doorbells will not display any wifi networks to connect to within the app. Personally, I went through the additional step of disconnecting the unit for several minutes to see if that would help and it successfully went through the entire setup procedure, displaying the live feed as well on my cellphone! Unfortunately, this only lasted about 5 minutes which is when it once again went offline and no longer allowed connection to any wifi network. It appears there is a known problem with the wifi that Eufy is not acknowledging as the forum threads indicate they are simply told to buy another doorbell. It's great that the reviews at Tom's Hardware exist for initial testing but it would be truly helpful if long term reviews existed that would affect the overall recommendation of being a good purchase.
