Exporting information on to a USB Flash

I have my family tree on my old desk top.
I want to put this information on to a USB Flash to keep.
I have added a Family Tree Template on to my Acer LapTop, so that I can use my family tree by inserting the Flash in to the laptop. Could anyone tell me how to do this please?

Please do refer from this document because you'll have to follow all these steps.

1. Exporting your files from the Family Tree program.

2. Transferring the exported files from the PC into the USB drive.

3. Importing the file from USB into the other PC that has the Family Tree program as well.
