F.R.E.Q 5 Is it any good?

I have purchased these headphones after reading as many reviews as I could and all said that they are a decent pair of headphones....has anyone had any experience with them and are they good?

sorry no i havent.

they look to be of middling performane though the price is high and the build quality is low.

for the $160 they go for you'd be better off buying a pair of audiotechnica ath-m50's and a seperate mic (mod mic, zalman clip on mic or desktop mic) if you connect up via 3.5mm

I picked these as I couldn't get headphones and a mic they needed to be all in one

modmic attaches to normal headphones so its almost the same thing. except that its removeable if you want.

this is a m50 with the modmic installed

you would have two cables instead of one... but thats not a huge deal (you could always sleeve it with wire loom if it was)
