facebook login failed unknown error 1

I recently switched from an iphone to an android galaxy core prime and I have had not been able to log in my facebook on ANY DEVICE since. I have tried everything from cleaning cache and browser history to uninstalling and reinstalling app. I even wiped my phone and still no help. Can someone please help me with this? I have out of state family that I talk to via facebook, ie: my mom, etc.

Sounds like an issue you may want to take up with Facebook support. Not sure how anybody here will be able to help you, especially with a vague, unspecified error message like that. Facebook's support techs are the people you want to talk to.

I have absolutely no way to contact them as I can't even login. You have to be logged in to report anything or get any kind of support. I've tried emailing fb support, tweeting them, calling them and they don't even have customer support on the phone! I have no idea what more I could do to get them to help me without logging in. I posted this to see if there was anyone who has had the same problem.

what error are you getting when you try to log in?
