Text messages keep coming into my Facebook messaging SMS application from my Android phone. There is no option to block these numbers when you use the three ellipses at the top right of the screen. The only choices are to open a chat, delete the conversation ort to report technical problem.

What is interesting about these numbers is that there is a 10 digit phone number followed by a "then ""+" and a two digit numbert. For example, ",+19".

I have been deleting these messages but as you might guess they continue to come in some with different suffixes as with Cell phone calls but there is an a pornographic embedded hyperlink. Is there some alternative way to block these numbers?

Does this mean that you would lose all of your Facebook history. There are many, many numbers starting with my area code and prefix.

Isn't "+19" weird? I am thinking that this might be why I can't Block any of this SPAM content in the Facebook Messenger app on my Android phone..

Yes if you create a new profile you lose all the info in your original one, but that is often the only way to do things if someone has your contact info for spam use if you don't have a way of blocking the incoming messages.

The +19 sounds like a country code.

Contact Facebook with the numbers, although there is not much you will probably be able to do except create a new profile that the spammers don't know about.
